"I've said that fixing our broken immigration system is a top priority.  I will introduce legislation in the first year [of my second term] to get that done.  I think we have talked about it long enough."  - President Barack Obama, 12/30/12

Campaign for Citizenship

Picture
As people of faith, we believe that every human being has sacred worth and is created in the image of God.  The current situation in our nation where millions of immigrant families live in fear of separation, vulnerable to abuse, and unble to fully live out their God-given gifts is morally unacceptable.

We need full citizenship for all Americans regardless of race, income or immigration status.  President Obama and Congress should move immediately to make immigration reform a top priority for 2013 and to put citizenship for all Americans as the focus of that legislation.
